Manipal (ಮಣಿಪಾಲ, maṇipāl)
Guys, Manipal is a university town situated in the state of Karnataka in India. It is located in the rocky hinterland of the Malabar Coast of south west India, about 8 km (5 mi) from the Arabian Sea. From its location on a plateau, it commands a stunning view of the Arabian Sea to the west and the Western Ghats range to the east. It is situated 3 kilometers from the temple city of Udupi, and is 60 km (37 mi) north of Mangalore. This lake due to which Manipal owes it's name still has a pride of place in this university town and it offers boating facilities.
Greens
Err.. this post is getting way too formal, the best part of Manipal is that although being small but very beautifulplace be it the end point view of Manipal, the Manipal Greens, everything is present in this lovely place. Being my hometown I’ve got all praises for this place. Manipal is known worldwide for the educational backgrounds having the top 3 institution in the nation and The Kasturba Medical college, MAHE and of course the architectural beauty of these buildings cannot be described in words.
The Quadrangle snap
Well last time I was with my friends to the very famous dollops savoring the delicacy, Manipal has grown by leaps and bounds and shall continue. But people this is truly one of the best place to study with almost a Delhi or a Bangalore resized into a Manipal.Do check out this place, the college, hospital those beautiful gardens, the end point. Truly I’m struggling to find words to pen down my thoughts.
So there u realise why i call this post as wwm... world wide manipal.. :)
