Previous months we had written about how to add Tweetmeme, and BackTweet retweet counters to your Blogger / WordPress Blogs

Now introducing TwittLink, Wait! Its not a replica of Tweetmeme , Backtweet, or retweet.com widget. You will then see a TwittLink tab on the left hand side of your page, clicking on this tab pops open a full Twitter client. Then all you have to do is authenticate yourself via OAuth, you can then tweet from here, see your followers updates, see tweets about that particular site. In short you can do everything possible!
And clicking on it launches the TwittLink widget instead of opening a popup widnow to your twitter page like tweetmeme does. So this makes your blog reader stay at your website/ blog, as they will never have to leave your page. It looks to be an exact copy of Tweetmeme’s popular button, but it’s in orange instead of green.If you run your blog on Wordpress, you can use the Wordpress plugin.
Usage for a web page/ Blogger Blog:
Please login into your Blogger Dashboard > Layout > Edit HTML and check the "Expand Widget Templates" option.Now as a precautionary measure please download your template so that you have an emergency backup if in case you create any errors.
Firstly Locate this code in your blogger template.
<data:post.body/>
And then copy and paste the below code just above the data:post.body tag to integrate the big retweet button
<script src="http://www.twittlink.com/tools/button_b.js" type="text/javascript"/></script>
For a compact version, choose the one below.
<script src="http://www.twittlink.com/tools/button_s.js" type="text/javascript"/></script>
If you're smart enough you can set your own parameters.
<script type="text/javascript">
tl_title = "your title";
tl_url = "you url";
tl_source = "your twitter account";
</script>
<script src="http://www.twittlink.com/tools/button_b.js" type="text/javascript"/></script>
That's all to integrate this button within your blog. Now Do some good deed and drop a comment with a Thank you note. :)
If this widget isnt impressive then try some other stylish retweet buttons.
